General terms and conditions
This is the English version of the terms. The contract can be concluded in Slovak, English or Polish; if the language versions differ, the version more favourable to the consumer applies (point 3.2).
Effective from: 4 October 2026
1. The Provider
1.1. The provider of the Paidoria service is Vyskilluj s. r. o., Ulica Veterná 8760/43, 917 01 Trnava, Slovak Republic, Company ID: 53388178, Tax ID: 2121360032, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, Section Sro, Insert No. 47906/T. E-mail: info@paidoria.com. Telephone: +421 908 023 050. We are not registered for VAT. The prices shown are final.
1.2. These General Terms and Conditions (the “GTC”) govern the legal relationship between the Provider and the users of the Paidoria service, in particular the conditions of registration, of using the service, of the paid subscription, of its renewal and of its termination.
2. Paidoria and the subject of the service
2.1. Paidoria is a digital service intended mainly for children which combines movement, learning and fun through interactive digital content.
2.2. The service is available through an internet browser at https://app.paidoria.com. The service does not require the installation of a separate program.
2.3. Paidoria may contain in particular:
- interactive movement stories,
- videos and animations,
- mini-games,
- movement activities,
- game elements and gamification,
- the parent section,
- the teacher zone,
- child profiles,
- classes and other educational or movement features.
2.4. The scope of the features and of the content may change over time. The Provider may develop, update, change or extend the service.
2.5. Paidoria is not a medical device and does not replace medical, physiotherapeutic or any other professional health care or advice.
2.6. The movement activities in the service are intended for ordinary movement and educational use. Assessing whether a particular activity is suitable given the age, abilities, state of health or other circumstances of the child is the responsibility of the adult who accompanies the child while using the service.
3. The user, registration and formation of the contract
3.1. An account in the Paidoria service may only be created by an adult natural person (a person over 18 years of age), in particular a parent, a legal guardian or a teacher.
3.2. The contract on the use of the service between the Provider and the user is formed by creating a user account. The contract on the paid subscription is concluded as follows: (a) the user sends the order in the application with the button “Order with obligation to pay”; (b) the application then takes the user to the secure page of the payment gateway (Stripe), where the user enters the payment details and completes the payment step; (c) the contract is concluded at the moment the payment gateway confirms that the payment step has been completed; (d) the Provider confirms the conclusion of the contract without delay by e-mail to the address of the account. If the user does not complete the payment step, no contract is formed and nothing is charged. Before sending the order the user sees its summary, can check the details in it and correct errors (the number of children in the parent section of the application); the payment details can be corrected, or the payment step abandoned, until that step is completed. The confirmation of the contract contains a summary of the order and of the terms of the contract, the instructions on the right of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form. The contract can be concluded in Slovak, English or Polish — in the language in which the application is set at the moment the order is sent; the confirmation is sent in the same language. If the language versions of these GTC differ, the version more favourable to the consumer applies to a consumer. The Provider keeps a record of the order and it is accessible to the user: the basic details of the contract (its identification and the day it was concluded) are shown in the application on the Subscription screen, in the section “Your contract and withdrawal”, and the full details are in the e-mail confirming the conclusion of the contract. These GTC are permanently available on the Paidoria website.
3.3. The person creating the account is obliged to provide true, complete and up-to-date data.
3.4. The login details are intended for use by the authorised person and the user is obliged to protect them against misuse. The user is responsible for the activity carried out through their account, unless the law provides otherwise.
3.5. One parent account may contain several child profiles. A teacher account may contain one or more classes, according to the current possibilities of the service.
3.6. The user may cancel their account at any time.
3.7. The user must not:
- make their account available to persons who are not authorised to use it,
- use the service in a way that may harm its operation,
- circumvent the technical or security measures of the service,
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or data,
- copy, reproduce or unlawfully distribute the content of the service,
- use the service for purposes that are contrary to the law or to these GTC.
4. Paid subscription
4.1. Paidoria may be provided free of charge or on the basis of a paid subscription, according to the current offer.
4.2. The subscription for home use is monthly:
- €9.99 per month for the first child,
- €4.99 per month for every further child within the same parent account.
4.3. The current price of the subscription is always shown to the user before the order is submitted.
4.4. Once activated, the subscription renews automatically for a further monthly period unless the user cancels it in time.
4.5. If the user adds another child profile during a subscription that is already running, the price of the subscription increases by the amount for each further child under point 4.2. The increase applies in the manner and at the time notified to the user when the profile is added: before adding it, the application shows the new monthly price and what will be paid and when, and adds the profile only after the user confirms with the button “Order with obligation to pay”. A user who is a consumer may undo this increase within 14 days of adding the profile without giving any reason — by removing the child profile in the application or by a statement sent to the Provider (point 7.6 (b) and (c)); the deadline is met if the profile is removed or the statement is sent on the last day of the period at the latest. Removing the profile lowers the price and stops the surcharge; a user who only sends a statement removes the child profile in the application themselves. The application does not notify the Provider when a profile is removed, so the Provider makes the refund on the basis of a statement from the user (by e-mail or by post): no later than 14 days from the day the statement is delivered, the Provider refunds everything the user has paid for that child because of the increase, using the same means of payment and without any fees. An amount for that child that is due to be charged only later (the proportionate part added to the next payment) is cancelled by the Provider, once the statement has been delivered, before it is charged; if it is charged nevertheless, the Provider refunds it within 14 days of its payment. The subscription for the other children continues.
4.6. Subscription payments are processed through the Stripe payment service.
4.7. The Provider has no access to the complete payment card details of the user; the payment data is processed by the payment service provider.
4.8. The Provider may change the price of the subscription. It will inform the user of a price change reasonably in advance, at least 30 days before it takes effect, by e-mail or in the application. The new price applies from the following subscription period at the earliest. If the user does not agree with the price change, they may cancel the subscription before it takes effect under Article 6.
5. Free trial
5.1. A new parent account may include a 7-day free trial if such a period is part of the current offer.
5.2. When the free trial is activated, the user may be asked to enter payment details.
5.3. The subscription payment will only be charged after the free trial ends, unless the user cancels the subscription before it ends.
5.4. If the user cancels the subscription during the free trial, the subscription will not be charged.
5.5. The free trial may be used only once per eligible account or customer. The Provider may prevent repeated use of the free trial if it detects abuse.
6. Cancelling and ending the subscription
6.1. The user may cancel the paid subscription at any time through the relevant feature in the application, in particular in the parent section.
6.2. Cancelling the subscription does not mean an immediate end of access to the paid service.
6.3. After cancellation the user keeps access to the paid service until the end of the period already paid for, unless the law or a specific agreement provides otherwise.
6.4. After the paid period ends, the subscription will not be renewed automatically and no further payment will be charged.
6.5. As a rule, the fee is not refunded for a subscription period that has already started. This does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer, in particular the right to withdraw from the contract under Article 7 and claims for defects of the digital service under Article 9.
7. Withdrawal from the contract
7.1. If the user is a consumer, they have the right to withdraw from the distance contract on the paid subscription without giving any reason within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded (point 3.2). The period does not expire earlier than 14 days after the day on which the Provider sent the user the confirmation of the contract with the instructions on the right of withdrawal; as long as the Provider has not sent it, the user may withdraw until 12 months have passed since the end of the 14-day period.
7.2. Paidoria is a digital service and its provision may begin immediately after the contract is concluded.
7.3. Before the provision of the paid service begins within the withdrawal period, the Provider asks the user in the order for express consent to the provision of the service beginning before that period expires, and for a declaration that they have been informed that by giving this consent they lose the right to withdraw from the contract once the service has been fully provided. Without this consent and declaration the order is not submitted. The Provider confirms them to the user in the e-mail confirming the conclusion of the contract.
7.4. If the user withdraws from the contract, the Provider ends the subscription without delay, so that nothing further is charged, and no later than 14 days from the day the withdrawal notice is delivered refunds to the user all payments received under the contract, using the same means of payment as the user used and without any fees. If the provision of the service began with the express consent of the user before the withdrawal period expired, the Provider is by law entitled to the price for the performance actually provided up to the day the withdrawal notice is delivered, calculated proportionately from the agreed price; where the user withdraws within the period under point 7.1, the Provider does not assert this claim and does not set it off against the payments being refunded. During the free trial no payment is charged, so withdrawal at that time is free of charge.
7.5. The rights of the consumer to withdraw from the contract and the conditions for exercising them are governed by the applicable law of the Slovak Republic.
7.6. The user may exercise the withdrawal: (a) online in the application, using the “Withdraw from contract here” function on the Subscription screen (https://app.paidoria.com/predplatne#odstupenie; the function is also in the Account & privacy section), which is available throughout the withdrawal period; (b) by an unequivocal statement sent electronically to info@paidoria.com; or (c) by post to Vyskilluj s. r. o., Ulica Veterná 8760/43, 917 01 Trnava, Slovak Republic. They may use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex 2 to these GTC, but it is not obligatory. They do not have to state a reason. The deadline is met if the withdrawal statement is sent on the last day of the period at the latest. If the user withdraws through the function in the application, the Provider sends them by e-mail, without delay, an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal, including its content and the date and time of its submission.
7.7. The user loses the right to withdraw from the contract once the service has been fully provided, if its provision began with their express consent before the withdrawal period expired and they declared that they had been informed of this. The subscription is provided continuously, so the user does not lose the right of withdrawal during the period under point 7.1.
7.8. After withdrawing from the contract the user must refrain from using the paid service and the Provider may end access to it on the day the withdrawal notice is delivered. The account and the child profiles are kept until the user cancels them. The instructions on exercising the right of withdrawal (Annex 1) and the model withdrawal form (Annex 2) form part of these GTC and the user also receives them in the e-mail confirming the conclusion of the contract.
7.9. A user who is a consumer may end the contract on the use of the service without a paid subscription (the free account, point 3.2) at any time, without giving any reason and at no cost — by deleting the account in the application (Account & privacy → Delete account) or by a statement sent to info@paidoria.com or by post to the address of the Provider (point 7.6 (c)). Ending the contract in this way has the same effects as withdrawal from the contract and is not tied to the 14-day period. If the user has a paid subscription and the withdrawal period under point 7.1 is still running, deleting the account only cancels the subscription; to have the payments refunded, the user must withdraw from the subscription contract under point 7.6. The user may also withdraw after deleting the account, by e-mail or by post, for as long as the period is running.
8. The digital service, updates and availability
8.1. The Provider undertakes to provide the digital service in accordance with the agreed conditions and with the requirements laid down by the applicable law.
8.2. Paidoria is provided over an internet connection. The user is responsible for the availability and the quality of their own internet connection, device and internet browser.
8.3. The service may be temporarily unavailable, in particular because of:
- maintenance,
- an update,
- a technical fault,
- an internet connection outage,
- an outage or a limitation of third party services,
- other circumstances that the Provider cannot reasonably influence.
8.4. The Provider deals with technical problems and outages without undue delay.
8.5. The Provider may update, adjust and technically change the service, in particular in order to improve its functionality, security or compatibility.
9. Complaints and liability for defects of the digital service
9.1. The Provider is liable for defects of the digital service to the extent laid down by the applicable law. The service is provided continuously, so the Provider is liable for every defect that occurs or becomes apparent during the subscription.
9.2. If the user finds that the service does not work correctly or does not correspond to the agreed properties, they may make a complaint at info@paidoria.com.
9.3. In the complaint we recommend stating in particular:
- the e-mail used at registration,
- a description of the problem,
- the device on which the problem occurs,
- the internet browser used,
- and where possible a screenshot or other useful information.
9.4. The complaint will be handled within the period and in the manner laid down by the applicable law. This Article does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.
10. Licence and intellectual property
10.1. All content and elements of the Paidoria service are, unless stated otherwise, protected by intellectual property rights. This concerns in particular the software, the graphics and illustrations, videos, animations, sound recordings, music, texts, stories, characters, mini-games, game elements, teaching materials, the design, the user interface and the databases.
10.2. For as long as their authorisation lasts, the user acquires a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Paidoria for the purpose for which the service is intended. This authorisation does not constitute a transfer of copyright or of any other intellectual property rights.
10.3. Without the prior consent of the Provider, the user must not in particular:
- copy or reproduce the content of Paidoria beyond the use permitted by law,
- make the content of Paidoria available to the public,
- sell, rent out or provide the content of Paidoria to third parties,
- create derivative works from the content of Paidoria,
- remove notices of copyright or of other rights,
- interfere with the technical operation of the service,
- attempt to obtain the source code or to circumvent technical protection measures, unless such a step is expressly permitted by the applicable law.
10.4. Rights to third party content remain with their owners or authorised holders.
10.5. The user may create their own content in the service, in particular homework assignments put together from cards and questions (the “user content”). Copyright in the user content remains with the user, or with the person to whom it belongs under specific legislation or an agreement.
10.6. By creating user content in the service, the user grants the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free and territorially unlimited licence to use it for operating, displaying, backing up and improving Paidoria and for creating and making available further educational content within Paidoria. The licence includes the right to edit and adapt the content and to combine it with other content, and it continues after the use of the service ends.
10.7. The Provider does not state the name of the user or the name of the school in connection with the user content without their consent.
10.8. The user is responsible for being entitled to grant the licence under point 10.6 and for the user content not infringing the rights of third parties or the law. If the user creates the user content in the course of their employment duties, they are also responsible for having their employer’s consent to provide it.
11. Use of the service by children
11.1. Paidoria is intended to be used by children under the supervision of an adult, in particular a parent, a legal guardian or a teacher. The account and the child profiles are created by the adult.
11.2. The adult is responsible for making sure the child uses the service appropriately for their age, abilities and circumstances. During movement activities the adult is obliged to provide suitable conditions for safe exercise and to supervise the child.
11.3. The processing of the personal data of users and children is governed by the separate Privacy policy.
12. Free use for schools
12.1. Paidoria may be provided to kindergartens and primary schools free of charge under the programme for schools. A school can register through the form at https://app.paidoria.com/skola.
12.2. The Provider may assess the application of a school individually. Once approved, it may give the school registration codes or another way of activating school access.
12.3. A registration code is intended for use by an authorised teacher or member of staff of a particular school and must not be resold, provided to third parties or distributed publicly. If one code entitles the holder to create one teacher account, it must not be used to create several accounts.
12.4. In the event of misuse of a registration code, unauthorised sharing of the service or another serious breach of these GTC, the Provider may block or end the access concerned, to the extent permitted by the applicable law.
12.5. The conditions of the school programme may differ from the conditions of the paid subscription for households.
13. Liability and termination by the Provider
13.1. The user is obliged to use Paidoria in accordance with these GTC, with the applicable law and with the purpose for which the service is intended.
13.2. The user is liable for damage caused to the Provider by breaching their statutory or contractual obligations, to the extent laid down by the applicable law.
13.3. In the event of a serious or repeated breach of these GTC (in particular of points 3.7 and 10.3) or of the law, the Provider may block the account of the user or terminate the contract. If the user has a paid subscription at the time of such termination, the Provider will refund the proportionate part of the price for the unused period; this does not apply to the extent that the law allows the refund to be withheld because of a serious breach of the obligations of the user.
13.4. The Provider is liable for damage caused by breaching its obligations to the extent laid down by the applicable law. To the extent permitted by the law, the Provider is not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, damage caused by using the service contrary to the GTC, or for unavailability under point 8.3.
13.5. Nothing in these GTC excludes or limits the rights of the consumer to the extent that they cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable law.
14. Personal data protection
14.1. Information about the processing of personal data is set out in the separate document Privacy policy, which is available on the Paidoria website. The user is obliged to read it to the extent required by the applicable law.
15. Dispute resolution
15.1. If the user is not satisfied with the handling of a complaint or believes that the Provider has breached their rights, they may first contact the Provider at info@paidoria.com. The Provider will try to resolve any dispute primarily by agreement.
15.2. In the cases laid down by the applicable law, a consumer has the right to turn to a body for the alternative resolution of consumer disputes. The competent body may be the Slovak Trade Inspection or another body entered on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; current information is at soi.sk.
15.3. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI), the SOI Inspectorate seated in Trnava for the Trnava Region, Pekárska 23, 917 01 Trnava.
16. Changes to the GTC
16.1. The Provider may change or supplement these GTC, in particular in connection with the development of the service, the introduction of new features or a change in the law. It will inform users of material changes in an appropriate way, in particular through the application or by e-mail.
16.2. If a change to the terms materially affects the rights or the obligations of the user and the user does not agree with it, they may end their subscription under Article 6, unless the applicable law provides otherwise. A change to the GTC does not affect the rights and obligations that arose before it took effect, unless the law or an agreement provides otherwise.
17. Final provisions
17.1. The legal relationship between the Provider and the user is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory provisions of the law provide otherwise. If the user is a consumer, the choice of Slovak law does not affect their rights under the mandatory rules of the country of their habitual residence.
17.2. If any provision of these GTC becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force to the extent permitted by the applicable law.
17.3. These GTC come into force and take effect on 4 October 2026.
Annex 1 — Instructions on withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Vyskilluj s. r. o., Ulica Veterná 8760/43, 917 01 Trnava, Slovak Republic, telephone: +421 908 023 050, e-mail: info@paidoria.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://app.paidoria.com/predplatne#odstupenie (in the Paidoria app: Parent zone → Subscription → “Withdraw from contract here”). If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Addition by the Provider to Annex 1 (not part of the statutory model instructions)
Under point 7.4 of these GTC we do not ask for the payment for the service already provided if you withdraw within the withdrawal period, and we refund all payments. The withdrawal period does not expire earlier than 14 days after we send you the confirmation of the contract (point 7.1).
