Why Paidoria
came about.
When I was at primary school, I was diagnosed with early scoliosis. I had to exercise every day and I remember very well how hard it was for me and for my parents to keep up the discipline and the motivation.
Later my relationship with movement changed completely. For several years I raced road cycling full time and sport became a natural part of my life. After secondary school I studied mass media communication at FMK UCM in Trnava and started working as a freelance videomaker.
Paidoria brings all of that experience together into one project. My dream is to build a platform that lets every child see movement as fun rather than a duty — and gives them room to move, explore and develop their body, their mind and their character.

The screen is not the problem.
The passive time in front of it is.
The World Health Organization recommends at least 60 minutes of movement a day for children and adolescents. According to its global analysis, 81 % of adolescents aged 11 to 17 do not reach that level.

Paidoria is not fighting the screen. It turns the time in front of it into active time — the child helps the hero of the story get past obstacles by exercising along. They do not sit and watch; they get up, move and learn as they go.
Schools want Paidoria.
Not every school can afford it.
That is why the school version is free for every kindergarten and primary school in Slovakia. The goal is for every child to move — whatever the budget of the school.
It works thanks to the families who use Paidoria at home and pay for a subscription, and thanks to partners who stand behind a particular topic. The school pays nothing.
How the content
comes about.
We prepare the stories, the flip cards and the quest questions together with teachers and with specialists in how children move. Teachers tell us what can realistically fit into a lesson and what children in a given year already know. The specialists watch over the choice of exercises — so that they are safe, manageable without equipment and suitable for the whole age group.
The exercise animations are made by copying the movement of a real person, so children see an exercise exactly the way it really looks. The library holds over 70 exercises and more keep coming.
From Vyskilluj
to Paidoria.
It is not only about the change of name. The concept changed — from exercises fixed into the story it became an app that places exercises into the stories exactly according to your settings. Mini-games were added, alternating movement with picking up or revising what the children have learned.
Everything you have read about us under the name Vyskilluj still holds. The app now runs at app.paidoria.com.
You may have heard

The opinion of the specialists, the award and the articles in the media all date from the time under the name Vyskilluj.
